Renewed
International Peer-Reviewed Journal of Media and Communication Research – MEDIAJ (e-ISSN: 2757-6035) is a peer-reviewed e-journal published by Aydin Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Communication twice a year, in December and April. In 2020 MEDIAJ, which was first published under the name of The Fourth Power in 2018, entered a renewal process targeting a new scientific approach and academic perspective; therefore, it decided to change the purpose and scope.
With its new scientific approach and perspective, MEDIAJ continues its publishing life by increasing its scientific publication capacity within the basic principle of compatibility with international indexes. MEDIAJ, which is in the application process of TRDizin, is an international peer-reviewed journal that adopts the principles of non-profit and open publishing, where the double-blind review process is carried out, and plagiarism checks are carried out through the iThenticate program.
MEDIAJ, does not charge for any fee for copyright, publication processing, referee fee, etc. at any stage of the publication process. Any work that passes the editorial and two-way blind review processes is published free of charge.
According to TRIndex criteria, there is an obligation to find a certain balance between the article rates in the published issues. For this reason, the first 10 articles which are sent to MEDIAJ and accepted are evaluated to be included in the first issue to be published. Other accepted publications will be visible in the accepted articles tab on our Dergipark page to be published in the next issue.
